Word Problems Intense for 2nd – 6th Grade

The program concentrates on teaching how to approach challenging word problems. Particularly, the students will learn how to

• use line-segment or/and box- models for visualizing word problems.
• create parameters and put them into formulas.
• deal with measuring units.
• rephrase word problems.

At the end of this class, the students will be able solve challenging multi-step word problems

Fluency with mental mathematics required in order to enter this class.
