The class concentrates on developing understanding of main principles of geometry and fundamentals of drafting – orthogonal projections.
The class includes measurements and estimation. It also involves construction problems based on understanding symmetry and similarity.

Geometry ExplorationGeometry Exploration prepares students to the challenges of High School Geometry. The class involves a lot of construction problems.
The students start with sketches of word problems and constructions, where they can use protractor, ruler, and compass. Later, the students learn to construct figures using only compass and straight edge.

A benchmark for the program is Russian 3rd graders’ mental mathematics worksheets. It includes such problems as 17×7 or 95 over 19. The program is based on understanding number properties on the level of application rather than on “tricks” and memorization.

The price of a course – $20 per 1 hour lesson paid at the beginning of semester.
The child can miss 1 or 2 lessons per semester and get individual (15 min) or semiprivate (40 min) make-up tutoring instead of the missed lesson.
In case, a child misses more than 2 lessons per semester, money do not refund. Any extra lessons have to be paid in addition to basic fee.

Pre-Kindergarden ProgramOur Pre-Kindergareden (Pre-K) Program offers weekly themed programs with stories, music, songs, physical activities, art projects, and fun interactive educational games. We will work on colored shapes, numbers, letters, cutting with scissors, as well as writing and reading. Your kids will continue learning languages and will also focus on their intellectual development. The kids will take the next step to improving their skills in basic math, science enrichment, acting and memorization, literature, art, music, as well as etiquette learning and self-emotional control techniques.
